This International Women's Day, let's celebrate the resilience and strength of women worldwide, while also acknowledging the challenges many face during childbirth.

In Papua New Guinea, the Anguganak Healthy Mother Project is working tirelessly to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rates. Their upcoming Anguganak Healthy Motherhood trip in May is a crucial step in this journey, with dedicated and skilled volunteers equipped to offer training as well as carpentry skills. However, progress has been hindered by a lack of funds, delaying the completion of the maternity ward.

Imagine the plight of women in remote villages who must choose between walking for hours to reach the Anguganak Health Centre during early labor or staying in their communities with limited support and no life-saving medication. It's a harrowing reality that underscores the urgent need for action.

This International Women's Day, we invite you to join us in supporting the Anguganak Healthy Motherhood Project. Your donation will enable us to complete the maternity ward, providing village women with a clean, safe place to stay during childbirth. With your help, we can ensure that every woman has access to the care she deserves. Together, let's make a difference.
