Dear HealthServe Friends, Members, Supporters and Partners,
It was a joy to join in HealthServe’s 21st celebrations together last week. On behalf of the HealthServe team, I wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your busy evenings to join us and for all of you who contributed your stories and reflections on the last 21 years. I know that online gatherings are never a substitute for face-to-face engagement, but our hope if that you left the meeting inspired by all the amazing work that has been done over the last 21 years and excited about the future of HealthServe Global.
For me, it was an incredible reminder that the people are the bedrock of what we do, and as 1 Corinthians 12 reminds us, it takes a whole body to do the work of Christ in this world. Thank you to all of you for what you have done and continue to do in service of others through the work of HealthServe.
I am sure you would agree that the piece of music shared by Georgie Hoddle and the story of her sister Marcelle was deeply moving. If you would like to purchase the music, versions are now available for sale at Sheet Music Plus. All royalties have been generously donated to HealthServe. You can access it here:
Finally, as we look forward in anticipation of what God might do in and through the work of HealthServe Global, I invite you to continue this journey with us. You will remember that I highlighted 4 ways in which you can do this:
- Partners
- Ambassadors
- Resources
- Members
Many of you are already engaged in some capacity, but if you would like to contribute in other ways or know others who would like to join this journey, we would love to hear from you. We will be unpacking some of these in more detail over the coming months.
We will also be launching a Christmas Appeal in the coming weeks and invite you to invest in the future of this essential work, so that we can continue to support amazing people like Debbie Butters, Dr. Hallelujah and many others to bring life changing health outcomes in the communities they serve.
Finally, if any of you have any comments or feedback or would just like to discuss our work and future direction in more detail, please feel free to reach out to me. I would love to hear from you.
In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and I pray God’s richest blessings on you and your families in this special season.
