The bursary fund has traditionally come into action in the year prior to the four-yearly ICMDA World Congress.
The purpose of the fund has now been expanded to potentially fund overseas recipients to attend training activities in Australia such as CMDFA Impact, Vision and Graduates conferences.
The 2020 Plan
Resources will be used to strengthen the capacities in health care
of partner organisations and their members by supporting learning in events
such as:
1. The CMDFA Vision Conference in January 2020
2. The ICMDA Oceania Regional Conference in Rotorua, New Zealand in May 2020
3. The ICMDA World Congress in Arusha, Tanzania in 2022.
International Christian Medical and Dental Association
ICMDA connects Christians in medicine and dentistry all around the world, equipping them to live out their faith at work. It's a global movement uniting national Christian medical and dental organisations in over 70 countries, and is developing and supporting new movements in other places.
